Piano Lacquer and Gold
The Nobilis pairs deep black, high-gloss piano lacquer with a clip, ring, and tip in gold. Beneath the lacquer is a metal body; at 34 grams, the fountain pen sits steadily and evenly balanced in the hand.
Gold-Plated JoWo Nib in Three Widths
The gold-plated nib comes from JoWo in Berlin. Choose EF for very small handwriting, F for fine handwriting, or M for most handwriting. When you order, you choose between cartridges and a converter for bottled ink.
Personally Engraved on Request
We laser-engrave the cap on request, front and back, with up to 30 characters per side and in six fonts. The preview shows you how the engraving will look before you order. We engrave in Dresden. The Nobilis comes in the Hörner gift box.

Frequently Asked Questions
You can choose EF (extra fine) for very small handwriting, F (fine) for small, precise handwriting, or M (medium) for most handwriting. If in doubt, M is the safe choice.
You choose this when you order. With cartridges, you can start writing right away; standard international cartridges are available almost everywhere. With the converter, you fill the pen with bottled ink, in any color.
Push it firmly onto the nib section until it clicks noticeably into place. The first time, this takes a bit of force.
